Shri Madan Kumar Ghildiyal 

Shri Madan Kumar Ghildiyal assumed the charge of Ambassador of India to Timor-Leste on 28.3.2025.

Shri Madan Kumar Ghildiyal joined the Ministry of External Affairs in 1990. In  more than three decades of his experience, Shri Ghildiyal  has served in various capacities in MEA Headquarters and  in the Indian Mission and Posts in Consulate General of India in Karachi (Pakistan), Embassy of India, Tehran (Iran), Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi (UAE), Embassy of India, Brussels (Belgium), Consulate General of India, Jeddah (KSA), Embassy of India, Jakarta (Indonesia), Embassy of India, Kabul (Afghanistan) and Consulate General of India, Atlanta (USA).

Shri Ghildiyal holds a master’s degree in history. He is conversant in Hindi and English. His interests include music, yoga and reading. He is married to Mrs. Preeti Ghildiyal and they have a daughter and a son.
