The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), an apex body set up by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, for the promotion of exports of Handmade Carpets and other floor coverings, is organising the 49th edition of the INDIA CARPET EXPO from 11–14 October 2025 at the Carpet Expo Mart, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The biannual flagship event of CEPC, established in 2000, has become a renowned international fair for buyers of handmade carpets, rugs, and other floor coverings. The 49th edition will feature 225 prominent handmade carpet manufacturers and exporters from major carpet-producing areas of India, with more than 500 overseas buyers from over 60 countries expected to attend.

To attract and facilitate overseas buyers, CEPC will provide a complimentary package to selected buyers from Indonesia, including reimbursement towards airfare of US$ 500, complimentary hotel accommodation for up to two nights in Varanasi (with breakfast), and shuttle transfers between Varanasi Airport, hotels, and the fair venue.
